Ethnic flutes of South America

Since the arrival of the Spanish in America, they encountered advanced civilizations, Aztecs, Mayans, and the Incas in South America, in the Altiplano region. In this place, the Inca culture developed an advanced community, which included architecture, religious rituals, and music among others. In this presentation, you will learn about the wind instruments of that time, such as Sikus (pan flutes), Quenas, Tarkas among others. Students will learn how to make a pan flute and play a song from the folk tradition.
